Kayla Ponchot

     Kayla Ponchot is certified by USASF in cheer and tumbling for levels 1-4 USASF All-Star Cheerleading.  Kayla began taking gymnastics and dance at the tender age of 4. Then in middle school, Kayla shifted her focus to cheerleading. Kayla cheered throughout her middle school and high school career. While cheering she received several awards:ä time NCA-All American, ICA Best Cheerleader, 3 time ICA Best Jumper, Team Captain, Most Valuable Cheerleader, and she lead her high school team to several competitive awards. 

     After graduating high school, Kayla took her talents to NCA and Ball State. Kayla graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  This is where Kayla met Tiffany. She served as an NCA instructor and Ball State cheerleader for 2 years!! Upon graduating from Ball State, Kayla moved to St. Louis, Missouri and began her career as a Kindergarten and First Grade teacher. Her graduated from school in St. Louis and decided to return to Indiana this past summer. Kayla teaches Third Grade in Perry Township.

     After devoting her life to active cheerleading for over 10 years, Kayla hung up her pom-poms and began working as a coach and choreographer. Kayla spent her time choreographing competition routines and volunteering her expertise across the mid-west after her college years.  Kayla has been a coach at Tiffany’s since 2006.

Steffany Reutter graduated from Butler University as a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2006. While attending Butler she was a member of the cheerleading squad. Steffany loved cheering at Hinkle Field house and also enjoyed traveling with the basketball team during the NCAA tournament.  Steffany was also an instructor for the National Cheerleading Association for 2 years and had the chance to teach camps with Tiffany as her head instructor.

Steffany began dance and tumbling at the age of 3 and started cheering for Bantam Football at age 6. She was awarded the Gold Medal at the state gymnastics meet for level 5 uneven parallel bars when she was nine years old. She is a graduate of Greenwood High School where she was a cheerleader from grades 6-12. Steffany was the first freshman to cheer on the Junior Varsity squad at Greenwood, a Varsity cheerleader for 3 years, and Most Valuable Cheerleader in 1999. She was also a 5-time NCA All American Cheerleader chosen to travel to Hawaii during her junior year to perform in the Aloha Bowl and Oahu Bowl. She loves working with kids and helping out her big sister, Tiffany, where she has been teaching for eight years. Steffany has been married for three years and works at Meijer as a full-time pharmacist as well!

Jessica Long

Jessica is from Indianapolis, Indiana where she cheered at Holy Spirit grade school and Cathedral High School for 4 years. Jessica attended and graduated from Ball State University in 2006 (GO CARDS!) where she cheered for 3 years on the co-ed squad, was an instructor of UCA and NCA, and a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority for 4 years.  She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Fashion Merchandise and a minor in Marketing. Currently Jessica is a Store Manager for Hollister.

Jessica began dancing when she was 3 at Dance Magic and then continued onto Danc’n’Time where she fell in love with tumbling. Overall she danced for 15 years and then stopped to enjoy cheerleading. Tiffany met Jessica in 2002 on the NCA staff where she was Jessica’s Head Instructor at camps. Jessica was also a member of the Colts Cheerleaders for 2 years and had the opportunity to be part of the Varsity Tour which went overseas to Japan/Hawaii performing for troops as well as going to the SUPER BOWL!  Jessica enjoys coaching cheer and tumbling at Tiffany’s. Tiffany is so glad to have another NCA staff member & BSU Alumni cheerleader on her staff :)  Jessica has been on Tiffany’s staff since 2008.

Stephanie Gerig

 Tumbling Instructor & All-Star Teams

Stephanie is from Fort Wayne, IN with a background in cheer and gymnastics.  Stephanie took gymnastics for 7 years and was a cheerleader 7th grade and up!  Stephanie was  an NCA All-American cheerleader 01 & 02, she was named NCA TOP ALL AMERICAN at camp.  Other awards Stephanie earned while cheering at Homestead High School were 2003 Indiana All-State Academic Cheer Team, 2002 Northeast Hoosier Conference 1st Team All-Conference & was selected to work for NCA her senior year of High School. 

 Stephanie then went on to become a NCA Staff member & Judge 2003-2005.  After High School Stephanie attend Indiana University.  Stephanie was a IU cheerleader on the all girl team 2003-2004.  She had the opportunity to go to the 2004 UCA College Nationals where IU placed 3rd in the Division IA All Girl division.  While Stephanie was attending IU she was on the Dean's list (all semesters) & many other academic awards! 

Stephanie graduated in 2006 from IU where she majored in Exercise Science and minored in Nutrition Science. She has is a full time physical Therapist in Indy!  :)  Stephanie enjoys teaching at Tiffany’s and is excited to bring her stretching expertise to the program!  Stephanie has been a coach at Tiffany’s since 2008.

Ellen Dulcet

Tumbling Instructor, Pink CC, Tots, & All Star Teams

Ellen Dulcet is from Ft. Wayne, Indiana where she started taking gymnastics at the age of 6 at Summit Academy of Gymnastics. She progressed very quickly in gymnastics and competed on Team for 2yrs, while competing at the age of 6 she received first place awards for the uneven bars. She later decided that she wanted to turn her focus to cheerleading and started taking tumbling classes in 5^th grade. She then cheered in middle school from grades 6^th-8^th and continued her cheerleading career in high school at Bishop Dwenger. There she was on Junior Varsity her freshman year, a Varsity cheerleader for 3yrs, and captain of the Varsity squad her senior year in 2008. After graduating high school Ellen decided to take a break from cheerleading to focus on school. She attends IUPUI where she is pursuing a career in dental hygiene. Ellen loves working at Tiffany’s and having the opportunity to teach children all she has learned throughout the years.

 Erica Dickey

Tumbling Instructor, Pink, & Cheer Tots Instructor

Erica took gymnastics for 10 years, from age 3 to 13 when she began to focus solely on cheerleading.  She started cheerleading in 3rd grade and continued through middle and high school.  She also competed on the competitive cheerleading squads at Franklin Community in both middle school and high school.  Erica taught two cheerleading clinics at Greenwood Parks and Recreation center in 2006 and 2007.
Erica graduated from Franklin Community High School in 2007.  She is attending IUPUI and pursuing a degree in History and Education.  She plans to graduate in May 2011.  Erica loves working at Tiffany's and helping the girls to become the best cheerleaders they can be!

Tamara Ammons-Jones

Dance Instructor

Tamara began dancing at the age five in Anchorage, AK.  Because both of her parents were in the military she had the opportunity to travel the world and experience different dance styles and techniques.  Tamara’s training extends from the fundamentals of ballet to the rhythmic style African.  It wasn’t until she moved to Indianapolis and attended Broad Ripple High School that she began her intensive study of dance that consisted of ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. 

After graduating High School, Tamara attending Purdue University and took her passion of dance and continued.   Tamara spent her time as the student coordinator for the Jahari Dance Troupe for 2 years and became apart of the Purdue Repertory Dance Company.  She served as captain for the nationally ranked Purdue University dance team during her senior year and spent time holding dance camps for various Elementary and High School competitive dance teams. Her extensive dance background in Hip Hop was cultivated as a member of the Fever Inferno Hip Hop Squad during the summer of her college years.

Tamara graduated from Purdue University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a minor in dance.  The summer after she graduated, Tamara was offered a full dance scholarship to attend an intensive dance workshop in Chicago for a month with the Deeply Rooted Dance Company.  There she was able to enhance her dance abilities in both Modern and Ballet.  During the summer of 2008, Tamara auditioned for the Indiana Pacemates to begin her life as a professional dancer.  She has recently completed her second year with the Indiana Pacemates and hope to return for the 2010-2011 season.  Besides being a Pacemate, she is also the head coach for the Marian University Dance Team. Tamara is excited to be teaching classes at Tiffany's for the summer.
